Meeting with Lisa Alvarado during my last trip to Chicago was such a blast. So of course, I asked my girlfriend to take a picture of us, because I wanted to boast to people, "Here I am, posing with a REAL writer." ^_^

Inside the Chicago Field Musuem during my Solstice research trip. This is where Io first meets a strange little girl...

Leave it to me to be at the Field Musuem and think, "Wow, this is where all that crazy, scary stuff happens at the end of the book" instead of enjoying its marvelous exhibits like everyone else. Anyway, I spent more than an hour walking around the museum just mapping out the steps of that last chapter of Solstice...

Apparently, my girlfriend's cat, Cheetah, wanted to go with me that day.

Yours truly in March of 2007, playing a gig in a small bar in Detroit. This show was special to me, not only because it was my first ever gig, but because it was on the same stage where I first saw Polysics. That Polysics show was what made me want to play live in the first place.
